I am currently the Director of Development at Women's eNews and a graduate student at NYU Wagner school, studying international public policy. I would like to focus on empowerment and education programming for women who have experienced sexual violence and rape in conflict and post-conflict areas.

Neba Petra Lum: Lum is a young woman in her 20s, an undergraduate law student. She had her future all mapped out to be a lawyer or a teacher after her first degree. After enrolling into the faculty of law at the Douala University for a year, she dropped due to lack of finances.

I am a writer and editor for and environmental education magazine called Clearing. I also work at a university. I teach organic gardening, and cooking to children in spare time. My children, magazine, work, friends, family and earth. Time and people's intolerance. Writing, gardening, educational policy, permaculture, place based education, book collecting, and cooking.
I am an Mother, Wife, and very active in our school of martial arts training. I am very proud to say that through the martial arts I have been able to change my live as well as our two daughters. I am doing some dissertation research in Haiti and interested in ways of supporting education for girls and women, as well as community-based trauma counseling while I am there. I also work with the Interuniversity Institute for Research and Development (INURED).
