As the project lead of ORPHSWIV, a CBO at the South region of Nyanza Province in Kenya, am in a position to introduce ideas and projetcs that are going to empower the members of the group and the community as a whole.

Having been raised in Ethiopia as a child of a development worker, I gained a global outlook at a young age. After witnessing poverty and injustice in its various forms, I knew I wanted to make a difference in the world. While in university I learned about modern day slavery, and have since discovered my passion to be the fight against sex trafficking and sexual exploitation.
