I am a retired librarian, who spent most of my career in the corporate world. I've had the good fortune to travel quite a bit in the developing world--in Africa, Asia, and South America. In 2007, I went with a Rotary group for polio immunization in Ethiopia. I have always been interested in gender equity, and travel has enabled me to see some of the issues first hand.
I'm the Founding Executive Director of 5 for Fairness, an online grantmaking community, dedicated to supporting projects that foster fairness for girls worldwide.
I'm a mover, a shaker, a big laugh, a strong opinion and a perpetual student. As I move forward in my studies I realize that my real education has come through traveling to uncomfortable yet beautiful places, listening to those with even the quietest voices, dancing when I was not supposed to and meeting new and brilliant minds across the world.
Travelling and preparing my meals Trying out new activities, Never quit Writting, reading news, Graphic designer

I am an artist living in Portland, OR. I studied sculpture in college, but I work mostly on large-scale murals these days, which is a medium I love for telling stories. Murals have a way of captivating people and taking them on a visual journey to find the beauty that exists in various cultures and communities.
I am a woman and minister living in Portland, Oregon, though I do not have a church. My background and graduate degree is in theater arts and I have tried to tie this in with creating sacred rituals and ceremonies celebrating all aspects of Life. I was very blessed to be introduced to global women's issues and women's empowerment through a book called The Soul Of Money by Lynne Twist.
