Our mission is to give hope and purpose to the vulnerable women, youth and children in kenya through advocacy and capacity building programmes. Currently we have about 250 orphans and vulnerable children at Children of Africa Hope Mission in Ng'ando slums in Nairobi.
I am a graduate student in the International Health track of the Master's in Public Health program at Oregon State University. I am passionate about women's health, with a specific interest in reproductive health and rights. I hope to work abroad again in the future, advocating for family's access and education to a full range of reprodutive health services.

I am a 60 year old woman from Canada who is fortunate to have so many young, idealistic girls and women in Tanzania who are my friends. This is the result of a chance trip I made to Tanzania to go on safari in 1998. I thought it was a "once in a lifetime trip" but seeds were planted and I was continually drawn to return to two small villages in the north - Longido and Kimokouwa.
