I live in rural Vermont with my husband and three children, and teach both Cultural Anthropology and History for the Vermont State College System in Vermont. Prior to settling here, I worked in East Africa as a teacher, then at a large refugee camp in Mandera Kenya. I have been back in the states for almost 15 years, and long to travel back to Africa (especially in deep winter)!
