I was born and raised in Southern China and speaks Cantonese and Mandarin fluently. My love for the environment comes from hiking in the beautiful redwood forests while attending UC Santa Cruz, where I obtained my BA in Sociology. Prior to joining Pacific Environment, I worked for 5 years as a labor union organizer in San Francisco and gained valuable skills in community organizing.
At the moment I am sitting in my home which happens to be an old red barn that was converted into a living space.
Until 2008, I was what you could call a career woman; dedicated to the companies I worked for, maybe too much so thinking back to it… After nearly reaching a burn-out I decided to change my life and follow my heart!
