The strength of these women coupled with their desires to live one day at a time is extra ordinarily amazing.
I connected with the women who created PULSE for the global community at the Clark College Women's Conference. I majored in community Development and women's studies at PSU. I think it is vital to create supportive communities rather than trying to 'fix' individuals. Creating a sense of place, locally and globally, helps each individual develop to his or her true potential.
Hi everybody, I am Sibongile Mkhize I have done some work with the support group in South African setting. From tghat work I wrote an article for the journal on how people use the lens of christianity to deal with their experiences with the HIV/AIDS in this support group.
