ITPCnewsletter

Dear Colleagues

As there’re so many activities of ITPC and important events going on these days, we’re now planning to launch a Newsletter ITPC once every 2 months for our members. My name is Ed and I’ll be in charge for producing newsletters of ITPC. I have just graduated from St.Petersburg university, Russia and came back to Thailand last month. Have taken the job as communications assistant of ITPC and providing assistance to International Coordinator of ITPC Greg Gray, these Newsletters are probably one of the main responsibilities I’ll have to carry out.
Our newsletter aimed at providing our members wide range of information and resources, including activities of ITPC in different regions, drugs development and drug-related issues, new AIDS policy, funding and etc. It consists mainly of 6 chapters; ITPC regional updates, Event and information of HIV prevention and treatment, latest documents and files produced by ITPC, actual discussion, incoming meetings, conferences, forums, workshops on related issues and ongoing projects of ITPC, CF and another organizations.
The first chapter we’ll dedicate to those who have been working and actively taking part in ITPC activities in all regions. We would like you to share your experiences, feeling and some thoughts about your work, your organization. We’re extremely convinced that your answers will inspire thousands of PLWHAs lives.
The next chapter we’ll focus on introduction of regional staff of ITPC: history of foundation and main activities. We’re now still looking which region to be presented in our pilot newsletter. So if you’d like to take part in, please contact me directly.
For the last chapter we would very appreciate your participation in giving comments and feedback. If you wish to take part in this section, don’t hesitate to send us any inspiring stories not only about HIV treatment, prevention, and care but also how to live with HIV and how to deal with stigma and discrimination in your society. We’ll get them published in our Newsletter. These stories are valuable for many other PLWHA.

Hope now that you have a general idea of our ITPC newsletter. This newsletter will play an important part in helping PLWHA to fight for their right, give them guideline how to live happily in their society and encourage them to address any specific problems in their region.

Any comments related to the ITPC newsletter are welcomed. Please don’t hesitate to contact me by email address attapon@apnplus.org . We look forward to hearing from you very soon.

Highly regards
Ed
Communications assistant to ITPC
