The Journey To Self Discovery

Browsing the internet has been a part of my day to day life. I read news articles, blogs, latest laws and jurisprudence, entertainment or simply facebook status of my friends online which had led me to discover “Voices of the Future”. The announcement had been posted in one of my friends` facebook wall. I was so enthusiastic about it that I did not waste my time and directed myself to this webpage and signed up.

The invitation has been so enticing. Thinking about gaining new friends from different part of the world, learning new things every day, able to share my perspectives and opinions in life and being able to do something more meaningful are just some of the commendable reasons why I decided to join this group. Aside from my ambitious goal of going to New York and other US states to deliver my speeches.

It may sound a cliché, but I want to achieve something more, something worthwhile and something that my parents and my future children would be proud of. Not for my personal advantage but I want to be remembered at old age to have contributed in a positive way by touching the lives of many people. Be it by overwhelming support or in my own little way.

Through this channel I am eager to share the untold stories of my countrymen especially the people in my hometown. I always wanted to tell the good thing about my place to other nations and not just the worst scenarios they read and see on mass media. I also wish to grow as a person and broaden my horizon. I am someone who gets easily bored from doing a monotonous work. I want to take everyday as a new learning experience and challenge.
