Introducing myself and my journal

About Me:
I am a feminist, 48, married with two children, one of which has a chronic, disabling illness. My passions are beauty and design, spirituality, native rituals and traditions, the natural world, Indian philosophy, and alternative healing traditions. My new website, www.planethomeandgarden.com, creates a forum for sharing ideas and personal stories on the ways we bring beauty, depth, and soul into home and garden. I want to connect with women from other cultures to learn about their ideas of female wisdom and spirit, ritual, and how they bring beauty, soul, and healing into home and garden. I believe that as we honor women's lives and the home, and embrace our own wisdom and healing ways, we empower women and we transform the world through compassion.

My Challenges:
Raising a child with a degenerative illness and being unable to travel and visit other cultures

World peace, elevating the feminine ways and wisdom in the world of understanding, and ending environmental degradation
