Introducing myself and my journal: A new level of global consciousness with the compassionate heart archetype

About Me:
Bonjour/Hello,

I'm a PhD student and health planning consultant from Canada. I am studying the process and impact of a very special reconciliation method for peace building called Compassionate Listening. I'm looking at it from a health and well-being perspective and very important way of listening and safely containing every side of the story in a conflict and putting emphasis on what's sacred and unique in each side/individual. This is a precursor for a real dialogue and conflict resolution and is psycho-spiritual approach but that looks at reality, be it socio-political, economic, etc. I belive that our collective cousciousness (and semi-counscious and unconscious in some ways) is ready to learn the vocabulary to reach the Soul and encompass all of humanity, in it's most simple and natural ways; we're all sisters and brothers. Anyway, there is a lot to learn and discover with this method that is a way of being (compassionate way), of doing (compassion is very much an action word). Staying away from polarization and learning the skills, attitudes and behaviors that can encompass more than one "truth" at a time, and even truths that seem opposite but that are both "true", is quite exciting as a prospect - and very feasible: the subject of my studies.

So, this is my passion right now, as well as my 2 beautiful daughters (23 and 25) that are doing very well, traveling the world and being great leaders for tomorrow. I just love today's youth and have great hope for them - and us - for tomorrow. We need to give them the best possible chances to let them lead us to a more inclusive, global world (village). I strongly believe that they represent much better our new challenge: to be global people. And it is in that spirit that I just joinded this Global Network and it's refreshing to know that this is for women. Very liberating in some aspects. Thank you for letting me join you and looking forward for great discoveries ! I'm available to discuss, teach, inform more on the subject of my passion/studies mentionned above.

My Passions:
Compassion, peace building and conflict resolution, children and youth, multicultural affairs and friends, etc.

My Challenges:
Finishing my PhD thesis ensuring that the contribution for the better of the planet can be achieved.

My Vision for the Future:
Development of the competencie to include more than one "truths" even if looks opposite. This to leave beside fears of what's different and welcome safely and contain different points of views. This is the way for more tolerance and less ignorance.
