why am I here?

First story
Eventually the question catches up to us. I am beginning this mentorship program where I will help a woman from another country to improve her writing and strengthen her voice. I feel I can hardly ask another to write openly and express her authentic voice without doing so myself. So I will offer myself here.
I am myself in the midst of massive change. My older son has graduated high school and will go to college far from our home. I am contemplating separating from the job I have held for seven years. I will turn 50 this year.
And the question arises, why am I here? To heal the world, comes the answer. Tikun olam. I wonder how is this possible, since I am only one woman strong. Then I remember we are the broken pieces of the world to be healed by connecting with one another, putting the pieces back together again.
