Introducing myself and my journal

About Me:
My name is Elena, I'm a student of journalism department of Moscow State University, Russia.
In my future I'd like to become an international journalist, write articles and make documentary films about environment and social problems.

I believe that journalism is a real power to make a difference. There is a legend about it. One man was going along the street and suddenly he saw a little boy. He was famished and frozen. "God if you exist, why do you make innocent people to suffer?", the man exclaimed. "That's why I created you", God answered. To me this story shows the purpose of journalism.

I'm interested in the activity of the United Nations and hope to join it in the future. I visited Italy, Germany, Austria, France, Switzerland, Poland, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Belorussia, Bulgary, Turkey, Egypt, United Arab Emirates, India, the United States, China, Singapore and Malaysia. But my main dream is a round-the-world travel.

I took part in the international expedition of the South African explorer Mike Horn to India. Ecology is my passion.

Photography is an integral part of my life and I hope one day my works be able to benefit people. I had an opportunity to co-operate with the magazine National geographic where I helped to write the articles, created exibitions, etc. I speak English, Russian, study Arabic and know German a little bit. Can't imagine my life without music, like to play the piano and sing. Enjoy diving, jogging and beach voleyball.
