Introducing myself and my journal: FarQuest

About Me:
I'm an ordinary girl from Pakistan who is a Software Engineer by day and a blogger/live blogger (1st technology live blogger of Pakistan) as well as an activist by night. I find issues pertaining to human rights specially women rights close to my heart so 'am often found talking about them online and more recently offline as well at different events and through magazines. Being a tech professional I'm passionate about harnessing the power of technology for the betterment of community at large.So, I have become part of the TakeBackTheTech campaign which aims to encourage the use of ICTs (Information and Communication Technologies) to fight VAW(Violence Against Women) and also to enable women to use ICTs safely.

Not just surviving but thriving in a male dominated society of Pakistan, Reaching out to and empowering not just urban but also rural women folk
