Introducing myself and my journal: GV Mission News!

About Me:
I am a woman committed to total development of women and the girls in the rural area of West and Central Africa Nations. I started working with women in Nigeria since 1998. I am connected to women in Benin Republic, Burkina Faso and Cameroun.
In Benin Republic, I worked in Oueme Region with the women in Sakete, Ikpinle, Adjarra and Porto-Novo. We have organised vocational training on hat making, soap making and cassava chain production. The women were introduced to the use of fertilizers, pesticides and insecticides to increase productivity and ease the manual weeding. The farmers were also put together to start a cooperative society to be able to harness their resources.
Presently in Nigeria, I am working with women at Onipe Village, Oluyole Local Government. We started a nursery/primary school January 2013; with 80% of the pupils on scholarship in a building constructed with rough wood.
I am happy seeing the tomorrow of Onipe Village in this children. Waaooh! It has started today.!!
