Introducing myself and my journal: When it Rains I wonder

About Me:
When it rains I wonder... it is a brilliant time to stop and think... rain refreshes, cleanses, makes things look shiny and new and most of all ensures our survival. It is so powerful at times however those of us here in the UK don't really comment except to say we hate it and it makes us miserable. How little we know of it's value. If the rain could speak it would do so with great passion, I think.

I am a woman passionate about social justice and the right of all people to enjoy a fulfilling life where they feel valued and respected. I am a proud mother of 3 grown up children who are each finding their way in the world like little birds that have left the nest.
I live on the south coast of England with my partner of 4 years, our dog, 2 cats and 2 rabbits! I work full time for a learning charity and have for most of my working life, been in the field of community development.
I love travel, meeting new people and making friends.
I also help people become greener by selling eco products that don't cost the earth. I also sell aloe vera products as I use them myself.
I recently took part in a rally across Europe to raise funds for unicef and have been running some half marathons!

I have my own blog too! http://www.HalfAnInchOfDust.com
