Introducing myself and my journal: A new journey

About Me:
I am retired and facing a time in my life where whatever possible contribution I can make to help solve the world's problems is becoming increasingly more urgent to me. As an individual, I feel helpless to do anything about the deteriorating world political scene. But in learning about World Pulse, I feel very hopeful that all of us women supporting one another and working together, can actually have a real impact and influence on what is happening in the daily lives of people around the world.

My Passions:
Public broadcasting, hiking, my grandchildren

My Challenges:
inertia, insecurity

My Vision for the Future:
not very hopeful right now; looking for a way to modify that
