LEADERSHIP AND EMPOWERNMENT

En ce qui concerne mon engagement dans le Leadership, vous aurez à constater plusieurs étapes que j'aie parcourue. Il s'agit des étapes suivantes :

1) -Les différentes responsabilités exercées au niveau de mon service,
2) -Mon Engagement pour la cause de la femme,
3) -Mon combat pour la Protection de l'Environnement.

S'agissant des différentes fonctions exercées dans l'Administration, vous pouvez relire les renseignements se trouvant dans l'article précédent.
Concernant mon Engagement pour la cause de la femme, notez que je suis entrée dans la dynamique des associations féminines évoluant dans mon pays. Depuis 1992, j'étais désignée comme Présidente Nationale Exécutive du CONSEIL NATIONAL DES ASSOCIATIONS DE VEUVES DU CONGO " CNAV/CONGO " en sigle.
Cette structure constitue un forum, un cadre des concertations des femmes veuves, mais aussi, un syndicat d'auto-défense et d'autopromotion des veuves. Sachant que dans notre pays, les femmes veuves sont confrontées aux nombreux problèmes liés aux multiples violations de leurs droits. Les problèmes liés au veuvage constituent un réel problème de société, souvent occultés car les principaux acteurs sociaux n'en tiennent jamais compte. Etant donnée que l'on ne peut pas dissocier le couple Mère-Enfant, les orphelins constituent notamment notre cible.

REALISATIONS : Comme réalisations, nous n'avons jamais cessé de sensibliser les victimes de veuvage à éviter une attitude d'attentisme, mais, elles doivent se mettre au travail en vue de s'autopromouvoir.
- Création d'une solidarité réelle entre les veuves au sein de différents groupes, en vue de créer une force commune
- La mise en place de différents regroupement des veuves au niveau de la base
- Appendre différents métiers aux veuves, mais aussi, les aider à avoir accès aux micro-crédits en vue de l'exercice des activités génératrices des revenus.
- Créer un jumelage entre les veuves de différents pays,
-La mise en place des conseils Provinciaux des veuves
-L'apprentissage des veuves sur leurs droits.

N.B Depuis l'avenèment de différentes guerres dans notre pays, le taux de veuvage s'est sensiblement accru. D'où la mission du Conseil National est devenue trop vaste, mais alors, l'absence des moyens materiels pour l'atteinte de nos objectifs s'avère une contrainte.

1. Notre Engagement dans la Protection de l'Evironnement.
   
   Ici, vous observez que la lutte que je mène pour la protection de l'Environnement n'est plus exercée en tant que pouvoir public, mais c'est en ma qualité d'agent de développement durable.
   
   
   

   Dans mon parcours en tant que fonctionnaire au ministère chargé de l'Environnement, je m'étais heurtée à un problème où la mission me confiée par mon service risquerait d'être bafouée par le pouvoir en place qui a jugé bon de spolier un site destiné à la production et multiplication des plants pour le Reboisement.
   N'étant pas d'accord avec ces derniers, il fallait tout simplement m'écarter pour effacer les trace et notamment pour que je ne puisse plus parler.
   Grâce à la structure dénommée "ACTION POUR L'EDUCATION ENVIRONNEMENTALE AU KIVU, GENRE ET DEVELOPPEMENT DURABLE, nous essayons de protéger notre environnement.
   OBJECTIF : Protéger les écosytèmes naturels
   Protéger l'Environnement en vue d'un développement durable.

REALISATIONS : -Production des émissions d'écucation ,de formation, d'information et d'éveil de la conscience du public à la protection de notre environnement,
-Descente sur terrain pour vérifier les différents abus,
-Procéder aux alertes
-Reboisement des sites dégradés
-Suscité l'intérêt de la population ainsi que celui des autorités à la protection des ressources naturelles
NB La liste n'est pas exhaustive.... L'assainissement du cadre de vie, informer le public sur le respect des règles hygiéniques etc....

In the way of my commitment in Leadership, you will have to note many stages that I have traveled. They include the following stages:

Concerning my Commitment to the feminine cause, note that I entered into the dynamics of the feminine associations evolving in my country. Since 1992, I was designated as the National Executive President of the National Council of the Associations of Widows of Congo—CNAV/CONGO for short.
That organization consists of a forum, a framework of consultations of widowed women, but also, a union of self-defense and self-promotion of widows. Knowing that in our country, widowed women are confronted with many problems linked to multiple violations of their rights. The problems tied to widowhood constitute a real problem in our society, often hidden because the principal societal players are not held accountable.
Given that we cannot dissociate mother and child, orphans are our most notable targets.
Realizations: As realizations, we have never stopped sensitizing the victims of widowhood to avoid a “wait and see” attitude, but they must commit themselves to working in order to become autonomous.
-Creation of a real solidarity between widows within different groups, in order to create a common force.
-Establishment of different regroupings of widows at a base level.
-Teaching widows different trades, but also helping them access micro-credits with revenue-generating activities.
-Creating a partnership between widows of different countries
-Informing widows of their rights.

Also, since the different wars in our country, the rate of widowhood has increased significantly. From this, the National Council became too large, but anyway, the absence of material means proves to be a constraint.

1. Our commitment to environmental protection.

Here, you observe that my fight for the protection of the environment is not exercised as a public power anymore. but it’s in my quality agent for sustainable development.
In my journey functioning as minister for the environment, I collided with a problem in which the mission entrusted to me by my job was at risk of being trampled by the power in place that had decided to tear down a designated site in order to create plants for Reforestation.
Being against that, it was simply necessary to force me to leave to erase any trace of it and mostly so that I could not talk.
Thanks to the organization called “Action for the Environmental Education at Kivu, Nature, and Lasting Development,” we are trying to protect our environment.
Objective: Protect natural ecosystems.
Protect the environment with the intention of pursuing lasting development.

Realizations:
-Production of educational and informative TV shows to move the public conscience towards protecting our environment.
-Inspection of the soil to verify different kinds of abuse,
-Proceeding with alerts
-Reforestation of destroyed sites,
-Evoke population interest in authorities protecting natural resources.

Also, this is not an exhaustive list…Sanitation as a way of life, informing the public of importance of hygiene rules, etc…
