The wind of change

I feel the wind of change blowing
Like a breeze
It brings refreshing
Cooling down the heat of pain
Calming the nerves
Soothing the soul
And cheering the heart

My mood is lifted
Joy returned
There is an expectation
Of great things to come
I can’t help but smile
At this impending change

Unstoppable
It cannot be ignored
Persistent
I cannot brush it off
In anticipation
I wait
For the inevitable
Change...
