FORMATION SUR L'IMPORTANCE DE LA TEHNOLOGIE DE L'INFORMATION

Aujourd'hui s'est tenu une formation sur l'importance de la technologie spécialement l'outil internet pour nous les femmes intellectuelles congolaises. La dite formation a eu lieu au bureau Maman Shujaa sis n°3 Av Hyppodrome ,Commune d'Ibanda ,ville de Bukavu,RDC.
Cette conférence a été animée par Neema Namadamu , coordinatrice de Maman Shujaa.
Treize mamans pour la plupart coordinatrices des ONG ainsi que deux papas l'un coordinateur d'une ONG de femmes et l'autre travaillant à la division des affaires humanitaires ont rehaussés de leur présence.
A l'introduction Maman Shujaa Neema a parlé de son parcours
dès ses débuts de sa vie professionnelle jusqu'à ce qu'elle abats aujourd'hui comme travail avec cette merveilleuse communauté qui porte haut la voix de la femme:World Pulse.
Neema a montré combien de fois l'internet est un outil très important à notre époque où le monde a tellement évolué au point de devenir un tout petit village.Elle a aussi démontré comment une personne peut travailler sans se déplacer.Pour cette fin elle a appelé une personne avec laquelle elle fera une réunion le mardi,la personne se trouve à Jerusalem mais grâce à Skype nous avons échangé sans problème comme si elle était dans la pièce d'à côté.Les participants dont la plupart n'ont pas d'adresse Skype étaient émerveillés.C'est ainsi qu'elle a pu demandé à chaque participant sans complexe si il ou elle avait une adresse Skype,yahoo,facebook,linked,twitter,etc
Certaines personnes ont été franches et ont dit qu'elles n'avaient aucune adresse .Cela m'a ravi puisque nous avons eu l'opportunité de connecter les gens à l'internet et surtout à notre communauté World Pulse.
Tous étions convaincus qu'il est indispensable d’accéder à Internet pour travailler,faire la promotion de notre travail quel qu'il soit couture,interpretariat;etc.
A titre illustratif Neema a ouvert son site et a montré aux participants comment par exemple elle vend des sacs pour le compte de mama shakoshi ,cela était très édifiant.
A la fin il ya eu une recapitulation et ouvertures des comptes World Pulse pour tous les partiipants.
Avec cette formation je suis certaine que toutes les mamans ayant participé savent maintenant qu'elles doivent parler,faire entendre leurs voix et amener les autres femmes à parler aussi.

Training on the Importance of Information Technology

Today a training session was held on the importance of technology, specifically on the Internet as a tool for female intellectuals in the Congo. The training session was held at the Mama Shujaa Center, 3 Avenue Hyppodrome, commune of Ibanda, Bukavu, DRC. This conference was led by Neema Namadamu, Mama Shujaa’s coordinator. Thirteen mothers (most of them coordinators with NGOs) and two fathers (one a coordinator with a women’s NGO, the other working for humanitarian causes) boosted attendance.

As an introduction, Neema spoke about her journey, from the beginning of her professional career until her present work with this hardworking community that broadcasts women’s voices: World Pulse. Neema showed how often the Internet can be a very important tool in our current time, where the world has so greatly evolved that it has almost become one small village. She also demonstrated how one person can work without leaving home. To do this, she called someone who she would meet with on Tuesday who was located in Jerusalem. But thanks to Skype, we were able to speak with one another without a problem, as if this person in Jerusalem was just in the room next door. Then she asked if any of the participants had accounts for Skype, Yahoo, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.

Some people said they did not have any Internet accounts. That really surprised me because we have all had the opportunity to connect with people across the Internet, especially in the World Pulse Community.

Everyone was convinced that it is necessary to have Internet access in order to work, to promote our work whether it’s tailoring or interpreting, etc.

To demonstrate this, Neema opened her site and showed the participants how she is able to sell bags in order to benefit Mama Shakoshi. It was very enlightening.

At the end of the session, everyone opened accounts on World Pulse.

With this training, I am certain that all the women who participated now know that they must speak and make their voices be heard, and lead other women to speak as well.
