Let's celebrate, let's reflect, let's gather and move forward together!

Hello to all....

It has been wonderful to read the outpouring of celebration here on PulseWire. I feel that while the joy is abundant, there is also a sense of loss as this phase of your formal training has completed. As we move toward the next step of the program-- the Global Correspondents Network-- I think it is important for us all to pause and reflect on our magnificent journey together.

About eight-months ago, you all signed up for this new experience. Perhaps you felt excitement, perhaps uncertainty. I know that here at the World Pulse office we were a true mix of those two feelings. I felt the potential of the program, but had no idea what a powerful experience this would be for me personally. I have learned so much about the world through your voices. I feel that this is just the beginning, and we will continue to shake the world awake from a deep slumber. Each day, more and more people are awakening to the future that is here now...a world where women are fully valued and heard.

So, how can we wrap up this phase of the program with a BANG!? I would like to schedule a time, or create a place, for us all to gather and share the joy of a job well done. All of you are winners. All of you have contributed your self fully toward this program. And, we hope that all of you will continue on as active leaders on PulseWire, and in your communities.

It is my sincere wish that we could all come together and share here. What is one of your favorite memories of the program? What is one thing that happened that surprised you? What do you feel was your greatest success? How do you plan to carry your new knowledge ahead?

I will be sending out a survey so that World Pulse can learn what worked, and what can be made better for next year...but, let's use this post to leave comments and thoughts of CELEBRATION, REFLECTION, and the POSSIBILITIES that we can see now with new eyes. I am truly inspired by what we've been through together. I know that everyone has wisdom to share, and I know that you are all less shy about sharing now! Hehehe.... Please, ladies, don't hold back! Show us the way forward from here. Believe it or not, we're here to learn from you. You are the reason we exist. You are the gems that make World Pulse sparkle. You are the Voices of Our Future who will show the world what is possible when you give a woman a chance to speak her mind freely. Thank you a million times for your courage to be here.
