Meet Emily, our amazing Voices of Our Future volunteer!

Hello!

You may have seen or heard from a new face recently. Maybe she asked you to apply to become a VOF Listener or Editorial Midwife for this year's program? Or, maybe you remember her as a Listener from the very first VOF program?

If you haven't yet had a chance to meet her, I would like to introduce Emily Garcia, our amazing program volunteer! Emily has volunteered for World Pulse off and on since 2009 (as a Listener, supporting the Arts department of our magazine, and more). She recently returned from a year of studying in Germany, South Africa and India, and is currently working on finishing her Master's thesis project in Women and the Media.

Emily brings her enthusiasm and glowing positive attitude to our offices, and to PulseWire, to support this year's program and ensure success on all fronts. She is a champion for women's voices and visions, and is thrilled to be here in connection with all of you.
