Communication in the Age of Social Media

I attended a conference on Friday, December 7, and am still trying to process the entire event.

The day-long conference was hosted by the Meyer Memorial Trust at the IRCO--Immigrant and Refugee Community Organization--offices in NE Portland. My head is still swimming with all of the information offered that day, and I've spent a lot time this weekend thinking about how to integrate some of that information to the PulseWire website.

The keynote speaker, Beth Kanter, has some remarkable information about social media communications. She's a well-known authority in non-profit circles, and her blog is filled with lots of great information.

You can follow Beth's blog at her website: http://beth.typepad.com If you have any suggestions or thoughts about social networking and non-profits, NGO's, etc., I'd appreciate reading your comments.
