It's a nice day!

As a dedicated teacher I want to pass the days of every class successfully and relaxingly. However it's not always possible for certain challenges. Examples can be ; class size , mixed levels or different interests in the same class or very new approach . During an experience of over ten years , I have faced with all of these challenges and have to think about solutions and time to get them varies from minutes to months . Among them, the biggest challenge for me now is altering approaches to my high school girls from the deaf school where I am teaching for free . The matriculation exam they are going to take in coming March is said to be the most difficult exam to pass in Myanmar. Therefore they and I are working hard and have to overcome communication and explanation challenges based on understanding each others' language between us and the curriculum designed for them .

The first thing is easier to solve by writing down the words which I cannot tell with my hands . However, presenting the lessons needs lots of ideas for their limited vocabulary and I have to draw pictures or show the pictures using internet and organize efficient lessons out of common process. It was almost impossible in the beginning of the trying and my girls and I felt nearly hopeless. But I didn't show my true feeling of impossible and encouraged them that we would have lots of better ways succeed . Then I have been trying one way and another till we both are more satisfied.

Today , they have taken a test and all of them gained more than pass mark and all of us were so relaxing during the test. They were reading the questions with their sign language and thinking about the answers and wrote them down. At that moment, I was preparing next lessons for them with my laptop and listening to my favorite songs that cannot disturb them . After I marked their tasks it's time for them to go to school and they left the class with smiles . It's a wonderful day for us and I was really happy when I remember today is the ' World Teachers' Day'.
