Introducing myself and my journal: River Forest



About Me:
I was born in Washington, DC and have lived in Virginia, New York, Montana, Washington and Oregon. My educational and professional credentials center around healthcare and teaching writing/literature on the high school and university level.
I encourage writers of all ages to publish or present their work to inform or energize the public. My own writing consists of book reviews, press releases, op ed articles and poetry [published in Calyx, Oregon English Journal, J Journal (John Jay University), Sistersong, The Seattle Review, Sojourners, If I Had a Hammer--on Women and Work, Raising Our Voices, Blooming in the Shade and numerous others]. I am completing a book of poems titled Specific Gravity.
