Protest against VAW and impunity

Hi friends,

In Nepal daily protest is going on in front of Prime Minister's official residence from December last week demanding judicial probe into the incident of violence against women that took place recently in differently places of the country. Every morning from 9am to 11am, hundreds of people belonging to women right groups, human right activist, journalist, laywers, students, civil society members are protesting, but government is not responding yet.

We are organizing a protest in front of Chief District Office, Kathmandu on January 28th, 2013 Monday from 11am to 1pm to show solidarity on protest going on against VAW and demanding implementation of existing law as well as demanding harse punishment for crimes against women. This protest is organizing by National Newar Women Movement.
