Widowhood
Jan 21, 2015
Story
I am 61 years old. Forty years ago, my husband Michael was killed in the war, and made me a widow at the tender age of 21. Barely, a kid myself, I was stuck with the responsibility of bringing up our kids alone. With the devastation of the war everywhere, I was lonely, rejected and confused; with no means of livelihood, no formal education, and no roof over our heads. The only thing worthwhile, my husband left for me was our innocent children, looking up to me for succor, and beckoning on me spiritually not to abandon them. That, I had no intention of doing. By the grace of God, we stuck together, and raised each other....But, it is a lonely world out there.
Today, with a whale of experience, and perseverance, I am available to counsel, mother, mold, nurture and encourage widows and orphans worldwide.
