Self-care for Worldly Women

I am humbled and inspired by all of the module assignments posted thus far.

I want to thank all of the VOF candidates for their courage, very hard work, and sharing a taste of their world with the rest of us.

Here in the USA, I feel sometimes it is difficult to get a taste of challenges for women in other countries. Reading your posts made me want to learn more, get involved and take a stand to support your amazing voices.

Keep up this meaningful and groundbreaking work. It is making a big difference.

And...be sure to take good care of yourself on this journey.

What do you do to relax in times of stress? What brings you back to \"center?\" Music? Beauty? Meditation? Nature?

Talk the time to slow down and simply breath deep, see the beauty around you...and just notice what you notice.

One of my favorite quotes is by Oliver Wendell Holmes and is painted into my living room:

\"Time you enjoyed wasting at the beach, is not time wasted.\"
