Introducing myself and my journal

About Me:
I have always been interested in women's health and through life circumstances began specializing in my physical therapy practice in pre and perinatal therapy after the birth of my second daughter. Now the mother of three beautiful girls, it seems natural to focus on the health needs of women and girls. My practice focuses on holistic health modalities and education. I live in rural Vermont with a high poverty rate which has influenced both my practice and my personal life.

My Passions:
sharing what I have learned with other women about their bodies and healthy lifestyles, gardening, putting away food for winter, making herbal medicine, dancing, playing music with my girls, laughing with my husband, traveling with my family, LEARNING

My Challenges:
excepting my own limitations

My Vision for the Future:
combine my doctorate of physical therapy with a masters in public health, polish up my spanish and volunteer in women's healthcare clinics central america.

My Areas of Expertise:
Women's health, pre and perinatal, infant attachment, nutrition and "gut" healing
