Introducing myself and my journal: Looking Backwards and Forwards

About Me:
There are so many issues that human beings have created on this earth, but the relationships we women have with each other are paramount for me...mother/daughter, friend/friend, sister/sister. I have worked with young women most of my working life as a counselor and have strong beliefs about oppression, liberation, and the possibility of our mutual understanding to make a difference in each of our lives.

My Passions:
Getting my hands in the garden dirt, creating, writing, cooking

My Challenges:
Letting my personal beliefs about myself limit what I can do; letting anger get in the way of productive communication about women's issues

My Vision for the Future:
Envisioning a time when conflict resolution is non-violent, when we have planetary freedom to give and receive the best in ourselve's and there is an infrastructure for doing so.

My Areas of Expertise:
I am a doer, a mover and relatively spontaneous, but I suppose communication of many kinds is what pulls me and what I have developed over my life time.
