Introducing myself and my journal: Woman Warrior

About Me:
I am a Woman Warrior, surviving 2 kinds of cancer, breast and melanoma. I have given birth to 2 amazing women warriors, each has given birth to their own daughters! All of my daughter's babies have been born at home, one in a birthing tub, one while my daughter was standing up! I teach 2nd grade in a public school and was recently appointed to the county Library Advisory Council by the county supervisor. I am an extreme liberal, vote by mail, vice chair the Irish Caucus for the Democratic Party and I am an honorary member of the International Camel Jockeys Association. I was given the tremendous honor of a Shinto wedding in Akashi, Japan by my Japanese friends/my husband and I were the first non-Japanese couple to be married in 1500 years in the Akashi Shinto Shrine(Akashi is where the time is set for Japan). Tolerance is a value I walk daily.
