Introducing myself and my journal: Movement IS Change



About Me:
I was born and raised in Southern China and speaks Cantonese and Mandarin fluently. My love for the environment comes from hiking in the beautiful redwood forests while attending UC Santa Cruz, where she obtained her BA in Sociology. Prior to joining Pacific Environment, I worked for 5 years as a labor union organizer in San Francisco and gained valuable skills in community organizing. I traveled extensively in China while living and studying in Beijing, where she worked on research projects relating to the social impacts of urban development. My passion lies in ensuring that communities and people’s voices are not silenced in the process of China’s rapid economic development.
