Young people have important things to say. It’s time for the world to listen.
International Youth Day is 12 August. Join us in recognizing the power of young people to reshape the world for the better.
We are calling on youth—and those who support younger generations—to share your stories.
We invite self-identified youth over age 14 to share your visions for the change you’d like to see.
Are you involved with issues such as youth rights, education, health, economy, environment, human rights, gender rights, or peace? Tell a story about an issue that is important to you. What do you want people to understand about the causes you care about?
Have you taken action or invited others to get involved? Tell us what happened! We encourage you to share your experiences—especially any strategies or digital tools you have used to advance your cause. Do you have ideas for how youth can make a greater impact? Speak out and make your voice heard.
We also want to hear from anyone who works with youth and anyone working to make the world a better place for youth. What experiences have made the biggest impact on you? What have you learned from young people? Tell us your vision for youth-led change.
Let’s rise together to celebrate youth transforming the world.
