Immigration Debate

In response to The Economist, who are leading a poll for the question: Should people be free to decide where they want to live? The NO option is winning.

I wrote the following post, which I do not know if they will show on their page because they have a moderator that chooses which entries are published! (Why does it not surprise me?) Here it goes:

I am sad when I see the world get into nonsense polls like this one while they look away from the bone of the matter.

Why ask if people should be free to decide where they live when we know that they aren't?

Governments of rich countries have always made it difficult for people to migrate there, but at the same time, they have made sure that people in poor countries receive all the goods they produce, all the trash (used goods) they produce, and all the loans for which they charge financial interest. All these resources that \"must be\" received by poor countries are non negotiable by any government. The imposition economically and financially is clear.

But.. the murders, the lies, and the incredibly perverse laws upon which tyrants ruling poor countries build their power on are completely overseen, forgotten and looked away from,  in the name of  \"self determination of the states\".

What a binge for rich countries! Don't you think? They have captive markets and make great money through imposing their ways for at least five centuries now!

But it is completely wrong for citizens suffering from these impositions to want to live, to have a taste of the first world life experiences. 

No. People in poor countries exist so that they can buy your stuff. That is all. Non negotiable. Period.

So build walls, be more racist, control your borders. Don't let nasty, ugly, bad looking foreigners migrate legally or illegally.

Sit there. Watch how the poor starve. Blame them for their own poverty. Take all the money tyrants and their families and friends or colleagues steal from the people and put it in your banks to make them richer.

Take it. Don't say a thing. Know that there is nobody who will tell you or do anything about that. I even have a better idea. Take your weapons, your bombs, your chemicals, and destroy all humanity that will not comply with your rules.

That way there will only be buyers who do not complain left. And when they leave the hell created by your conniving tyrants, throw them in jail. These bastards are coming to your rich and nice countries to eat your delicious food.
