Another Dream

Sometimes I am teased because I have so many dreams and visions.  But this is who I am.  Setting aside visioning and dream time for me is like drinking water.  It nurtures me and keeps my spirit alive. I believe that part of the crisis in our society is that we have a crisis of imagination.  Good change will come faster if we all more actively imagine what our world could be - instead of only fighting against what is.

A new dream has been coming to me lately.  I want to publish an anthology of women's imaginations for the future from every country in the world.  I will ask her to very specifically vision what her country would look like, taste like, sound like, feel like, smell like when she is living in the country she dreams of.  I would collect these short stories - no more than a page - from each country of the world.   Each imagination will be beautifully illustrated to bring the vision to life.

The reader will be transported into a tangible future that is possible when women EVERYWHERE achieve their dreams for their nations.  Each story rich with the culture and biodiversity of that region.   Collectively, it will be something more awe-some and incredible than any one could envision alone.

Perhaps it would be called, "She Imagines" or "The Future, Imagined."  or perhaps you have a better title for it!  I would love to hear it!

I don't know when I will start this idea, or stop it - but I know that the first step to making something a reality is always starting to speak about the vision.  And, then I see if anyone likes the idea.

You, as a member of the beautiful World Pulse community are already imagining your worlds.  Your many voices are so much bigger than my wildest dreams, and that started with just small seed of a dream in my mind.  Look what we can achieve when we plant our seeds!!
