Shine

My power word and theme for 2019 is \"shine!\" Why is this relevant to the impact World Pulse has made in my life? Because \"shine\" and World Pulse are intrinsically linked together. I am able to shine my light brighter now than ever before, thanks to the massive influence and impact World Pulse has made in my life... from deciding to make that very first inquiry about volunteering for World Pulse, to being \"signed up\" as an Encourager (synchronicity at its best here:-), to reading and connecting on the very first post that I read, and ultimately deciding it didn't matter if I felt way out of my comfort zone commenting on a post. What mattered to me was knowing that I had made a difference in that woman's life that day, by listening to her, hearing her, supporting her, and holding that sister closely in my heart.

You see, I haven't always been heard, acknowledged, appreciated, encouraged, or supported... far from it! I know first hand what it feels like to not have these precious gifts; and I know, and feel, with every post that I read and comment on, that I have made a difference. I have made a difference in my life because I feel good for taking time to listen to, support, encourage, and acknowledge my sister, and in turn, my fervent wish is that she can feel this love, so she doesn't feel like her life, her work, her dream, and her voice, doesn't matter or isn't heard.

To me World Pulse is a safe harbor... a communal sisterhood where I can \"shine\" my own, unique light that sometimes beacons to other sisters who are also searching for a safe harbor to return to, time and time again... whether they've recently weathered a storm (or two), they need love and/or support, or they just want to be acknowledged and heard.

This is the real power of World Pulse... the safe harbor for all women worldwide. We are safe; we are at home; we are all one at World Pulse. I hope it will always be this way, and that more women join our safe harbor and are able to experience the love, support, and magic that happens every single day in our community... and so it is!
