How do we keep this energy going?

Tell a story that helps illustrate how we can march forward together for our collective rights and humanity, even after the media spotlight has been turned off.

  • Have you taken part in an event that led to a lasting movement and real change? What did you experience and why did it work?
  • Have you been to a march or conference that brought people together only to see momentum dissipate when it ended?
  • Have you watched a news story spark fleeting attention on an important issue? Or a hashtag go viral and then fade into obscurity? What did you experience and what was missing?
  • Are you joining or have you joined a march or demonstration? Share your stories (including any photos and video you take) of this experience.
  • Tell us about the people and the issues you are marching for—and your commitments to strengthen solidarity going forward.
