The Pandemic Won't Stop Us

In these times of uncertainty and isolation, it’s more vital than ever that we come together and embrace solidarity online.

“You are not alone and we—and all of the World Pulse community—are here for you.

Our online community is truly a global one, with thousands of members in over 190 countries—most of which are affected by the Coronavirus. From rural communities to big cities, from Spain to South Africa, we are all impacted by the pandemic, and women face a disproportionate burden.

I want to assure you that our World Pulse community remains safe, supportive, and strong. We are committed to continue powering this global, online sisterhood and we stand as an online refuge for women all around the world.

We are also equally committed to taking care of our World Pulse team members who are working tirelessly—and virtually—to continue serving our community. We are here to support you and hope that our website and social channels can be a source of solidarity, inspiration, and solutions for you.

In these very challenging times, the work towards global equity and justice must continue:

Right now, women are logging on to World Pulse and sharing how the pandemic is impacting communities all over the globe. We want to hear from you. Share your story and encourage your global sisters in the comments.

And, as the global pandemic forces many to become more reliant on technology, World Pulse remains committed to ensuring that women have access to safe and inclusive digital tools. Join our #SheTransformsTech campaign to share how you are using digital tools to remain connected and informed. You can share your story and also take a quick survey to advocate for universal and equal access to the internet for those who are disconnected and at risk today.

Let's make this situation a catalyst for change. Let’s continue to make noise and rally together online.

Let’s seize the power of technology and the internet and pave the way to a better world.

Thank you for being a part of what makes the World Pulse community so very special.

We are here with you,

Jensine & the World Pulse team

How to Get Involved

In these times of uncertainty and isolation, reach out to our supportive online sisterhood. Share your COVID-19 story; join #SheTransformsTech to make technology safe and accessible for women, and leave encouraging notes in the comments. Your voice matters and we want to hear from you.

Hello, Jensine,

It is so comforting to read your message of assurance and comfort. We are all in this together, hand in hand and heart to heart. This is a crucial period in our generation, and all the more we need our sisters to #LogOnRiseUp so we can check each other and encourage one another.

Please stay safe, Jensise and World Pulse Team. Thank you for staying strong and brave!

Dear Jensine,
There is no way to measure the value of all that has happened in bringing us together in World Pulse. It is thanks to you and such a savvy, visionary, dedicated Team. Instead of being isolated we have a powerful movement and the means to continue sharing news and planning together and finding ways to support each other. Best wishes that you and all of the Team and Board stay well, strong and feel the support and gratitude for what you have done for us all.
Deep sisterhood,
Tam
