Story
About Me:
I'm a Malagasy woman. I am also a wife and a mother of three. I've been working for fourteen years in development areas such as livelihood, local governance, reproductive and sexual health and AIDS, water and sanitation, education, communication for change...I am currently working as the Coordinator of the American Center in Antananarivo.
However, these technical skills are nothing without my inner beliefs. I believe in the goodness in people. I believe in human kind to be able to work together for a better world. I believe that if we start to see each other as one kind, yet different in appearances, in languages, in skin colors, in sex... I believe that when we truly start to care for one another because the death of one means the death of all of us, maybe we could leave behind a better world for the future generation. And I strongly believe that as long as women are not equal to men, this better world will never see the light. We still have much to do to to make changes. And that's why I am glad to join this community. Because I know that I can change things, even in the slightest way. And most importantly, I can learn a lot from others here.
