Story
My Dear Mentor…
Words fail to describe my already built affection for you…I might not have met you…I might not have seen you…I do not even know who you are…but just the knowledge that you are going to hold my hand in my journey is blissful. Having you gives me the courage to break boundaries, move ahead with a renewed spirit, and conquer the world.
Let me introduce to you your devotee. I am Khushbu Agrawal from Nepal, pursuing my Masters of Arts in Economics. I work as a Research Officer for Center for Research Excellence, a research wing at Kathmandu College of Management., initiated by me .I have previously worked for South Asia Partnership International (SAPI), where I was involved in different research initiatives and worked for the newsletter on Violence Against Women in Politics (http://www.sapi.org.np/newsletter/).
Ever since I was a child, I saw how women were discriminated. I never liked it but back then, I didn’t think too seriously about the issue. But as I grew up, I wanted to bring the change, and make a difference. My involvement in SAP-I provided me with further foundation, and I was determined to fight for the cause like never before. Journalism has power like nothing else, and as a correspondent with WorldPulse, I can share stories of women which has been obscured, and unheard. During my brief journey with WorldPulse, I have already been inspired by great female thinkers from around the world, and I am looking forward to a lot more stories, ideas, and inspiration. Through WorldPulse, I intend to initiate the change which I have always wanted to.
With you, the journey is going to be even more exciting, and an even better learning experience, giving me many more reasons to embark on my mission…
Eagerly waiting
Khushbu
