Addressing Shrinking Civic Spaces

Young people are a vulnerable group when it comes to rights violations.The lack of awareness on legal rights also affects many young people across Africa.

Through a project that seeds to address the challenges of shrinking civic space and empower young people on their rights , Haki Nawiri Afrika carries our human rights education, paralegal training , psychosocial support and student-police dialogues for university students and out of school .

The young people are equipped with skills on human rights, legal rights and safe spaces are created where young people and the police can come together and discuss issues and the justice system.
