Introducing myself and my journal: Hunger to serve

About Me:
I am a mechanical engineer by profession. Started my career working for a reputed auto mobile company. However, working for society was always deep into my heart.
Then left job, started my own company. Still that society cause is stuck deep.

I wanted to do something but didn't do much because of time constraint - saying this is just like passing my buck on to the other. If I had that passion I should have done it large. Anyways, it is never too late.
Though I did some efforts - sponsored a girl child, joined NGO for weekend teaching program and few more. But those were not enough to satisfy that hunger of mine.

Now as I am on my own, I would like to explore that other side of me - which is neither technical nor managerial - which is human.
Maybe I am not the type to run a school or hospital for a backward village - I want to touch upon the other side which is also equally ugly. The discrimination and exploitation of urban, educated & well-to-do family women/girls. I want to get these women on the forum who are well equipped (educated, access to internet etc.) raise their voice but don't do for one reason or the other.

I am joining this forum with an expectation of this helping me achieve what I desired to.

My Passions:
Reading

My Vision for the Future:
Society with equality

My Areas of Expertise:
Engineering (mechanical)
